what is omnisiberia?

omnisiberia is the company responsible for the development of the first Iberian tourism emarketplace, based on eTravel bookings’ platform, which enables the distribution, divulgation and online touristic products sale and purchase among tour operators, CRS’s and travel agencies. omnisiberia still provides integrated software for tour operators and travel agencies as an unique solution for contracts uploading, call-center, internet site, connection to GDS and integration with accounting. omnisiberia purpose is to be the leader of computer technologies for the tourism market in Spain, Portugal and Mercosul.

omnisiberia's emarketplace, eTravel, was developed in order to allow all tourism trade professionals to negotiate online. When all the parties in the tourism market are present in this platform, either in a national, or in an international level, they will be connected in real time, promoting, booking, purchasing and selling the thousands of products within the platform, benefiting from the integration of all systems essential to the process.

how does the participation in eTravel influence my usual way of negotiating?

omnisiberia booking platform, eTravel, is so versatile that does not demand any change in the way how you usually negotiate. On the other hand, the bureaucratic booking management process, the promptness in all the booking process and the enlargement of the clients and partners’ portfolio through new markets, new business opportunities, new purchase and distribution channels, will all become easier.

which are the advantages of joining eTravel?

Who joins omnisiberia's market will be able to participate as a product and touristic services provider (tour operator or CRS’s) and/or as a travel agency. As a product and touristic services provider (content provider) you will have access to an application, which allows promoting and selling, nationally and internationally, all your products and touristic services (last hour offers, tour packages, accommodation, events, activities, among others). All the information will be available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, being possible to launch or update a new product or terms of business whenever you want to, as well as display the received bookings and the payment state. As a travel agency, you will have free access to a platform which allows to search and book online a wide range of products and touristic services, either national or international. You will have at your disposal all the multimedia information, prices, availabilities and terms of business.

which training and technical knowledge do I need to work with eTravel?

All the system operates with internet explorer, an easy tool to use. However, some training will be needed, which will be provided by omnisiberia team. The touristic products´ provider will be trained in our offices (either Lisbon or Madrid). Regarding travel agencies, although we recommend training with our technical team, when the operator is an experienced user, he/she will easily work with omnisiberia´s eTravel application. Besides the training, our clients can rely on omnisiberia´s team technical support and on our helpdesk line whenever they need.

which are eManager, management system for tour operators, functionalities?

This software presents a large number of computer solutions for tour operators and CRS’s. Through it, the content provider places its products, allotments, terms of payment and contracts in the touristic products search and booking platform. Your products will be distributed in a simple and direct way to travel agencies, either through content provider´s own internet site, or through omnisiberia´s distribution channel, eTravel. This system also allows the integration with accounting software, which has several functionalities which meet tour operators’ management needs, as the issuing of management and profitability reports. The system also includes automatic integration with any of the GDSs.

eManager offers tour operators a simplified management and maintenance of their product, an efficient follow-up of their clients portfolio, as well as autonomy and management of their own private market.

with what purpose was eOffice, management system for travel agencies, developed?

This complete and innovative software was developed for travel agents. eOffice offers a wide range of functionalities, such as online booking in the travel agency´s site, call-center bookings and direct connection to a GDS in order to consult flights information. eOffice also offers the possibility to search and manage bookings, as well as search and manage the payments list, multimedia display, waiting list, cancellations, voucher issuing and access to last hour offers. Furthermore, it allows a general or specific definition of the discounts and agents commissions’ terms and a complete record of all the accounting documentation, the possibility of checking invoices and issue statements of account and receipts. With eOffice, travel agencies will also automatically access the touristic products search and booking platform, eTravel (omnisiberia´s distribution platform).

eOffice offers travel agencies access to a powerful internal tool, allowing them to reduce internal costs, offering an efficient accounts and payments management system, accounts reconciliation with BSP, several statistics and reports and, above all, it makes the process of answering to clients faster.
